This ultimate grilled breakfast recipe transforms traditional breakfast items into a gourmet feast, all cooked outdoors on the Arteflame grill. This recipe takes advantage of the Arteflame’s multi-zone heat control, allowing you to cook everything at the perfect temperature. The result is a breakfast that’s rich in flavor and seared to perfection!
Start by preparing your Arteflame grill. Pour a little vegetable oil on three paper napkins and place them in the center. Stack your firewood on top of the napkins and light the grill. In about 20 minutes, your grill will be ready to cook. You’ll want a hot center grill grate for the bacon and a slightly cooler outer area on the flat cooktop for the eggs, pancakes, and sausages.
Place the thick-cut bacon on the center grate of the grill. Let it sear for about 3-4 minutes per side, turning with tongs until it’s crispy and perfectly golden. Move it to the cooler edge of the flat cooktop to keep warm without overcooking.
Move the breakfast sausages onto the hot zone of the flat top, letting them cook through, turning occasionally to ensure an even sear. Grill for about 8-10 minutes, until they’re nicely browned and cooked through.
Add a pat of butter to the cooler part of the flat cooktop. Crack the eggs directly onto the griddle. Season with salt and pepper. Fry them sunny side up for about 2-3 minutes, or longer if you prefer the yolks cooked through. Remove them from the grill when they are 15°F under your desired doneness, as they’ll continue cooking after being taken off the heat.
While the eggs are cooking, melt some butter on a medium-hot section of the cooktop. Pour the pancake batter (prepared according to package instructions) onto the grill, forming 4 pancakes. Add a handful of blueberries to each pancake if desired. Cook for about 2 minutes per side, flipping when bubbles form on the surface. Remove when golden brown.
For extra crunch, toss a handful of hash browns onto the griddle with some butter. Spread them out to ensure an even cook, turning occasionally until golden and crispy.
Stack your pancakes, bacon, sausages, and eggs on a plate. Add a drizzle of maple syrup over the pancakes, top with a pat of butter, and enjoy a breakfast that’s seared to perfection with all the flavor locked in!
With the Arteflame grill, every item on your breakfast menu comes out perfectly cooked. The flat top gives you precise control over temperatures, while the center grate sears your bacon and sausages with steakhouse quality. This ultimate breakfast is rich in flavor, beautifully seared, and will start your day off right.
